Nikolay Lamm is a 26-year-old visual artist, who’s already made a big name for himself in the digital artspace. He describes himself as an “artist and researcher”, and while he tends to focus on environmental issues, his work includes many other topics including body image and poverty.

In 2013 he designed a series of images showing what sea level rise would look like—illustrating 25 feet of rise, the amount anticipated if we get to a little over 2C above baseline, the current “target” of the nations meeting at the upcoming UN COP21 meeting in Paris in December. (Note that while we are likely to hit 2C by mid-century it will take a few more decades before we actually get to 20 feet of sea level rise).
