Joe Webb is a brilliant collage artist we’ve featured before.

His work, “Carbon Footprint”, is on display through October at Jealous Gallery in London, as part of the International Weird Collage Show.

It is often said that we humans are like the asteroid that killed off the dinosaurs 65 million years ago in terms of our impact on the planet. We have unleashed the sixth great extinction currently underway, an extinction that may very well include us if we don’t get ourselves under control. This work speaks volumes about our outsized trampling of this beautiful world; we march around, squashing all delicate natural wonders under our feet, stumbling into an unhappy future of our own making. Not blindly, mind you; we know exactly what we are doing and yet seem unable to stop ourselves.
