Artist Justin Brice Guariglia has teamed up with the Climate Museum in NYC on a new exhibit, Climate Signals. The exhibit consists of ten digital highway signs displaying messages about climate change. The signs are solar powered, and will appear across New York City through the month of October, with the goal of starting conversations about climate change. On October 6, climate scientists will be stationed at each sign for “Ask a Scientist Day” to talk with the public about climate change and answer questions.
Mr. Guariglia’s Climate Signals work is also featured at Storm King Art Center’s group exhibition, Indicators: Artists on Climate Change, which we posted about earlier this year. We’ve also featured his 3D relief photographs Mapping the Anthropocene. You can follow Mr. Guariglia on Twitter and Instagram.
