The greatest human rights violation of our time is that a small number of people in rich, developed countries are wrecking the climate with a huge impact primarily (so far) on the large numbers of vulnerable poor people in countries that have had very little to do with creating our climate crisis.

Get up in the morning and exist as a person in a rich, developed nation and you are directly contributing to the early death of poor people elsewhere in the world.

Feel terrible about that? Then consume far less, and vote for those who want to do something about over consumption and climate change.

One artist whose work can instantly hit you with the horror of our impact on the planet and the poor people who live on it is Joe Webb, a collage artist who uses old books and magazines along with paper and scissors to create his masterful and incisive works.
